Position Overview:
As a Chef, your primary responsibility is to ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality meals and exceptional service. You will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our clients through your culinary expertise and customer service skills.
Reports To:
Campus Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook daily meals on-site for fraternity and sorority clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by responding to feedback and addressing requests promptly.
- Manage and monitor food and labor budgets to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee food ordering processes and inventory control to maintain adequate stock levels.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of universities, fraternities, and sororities.
- Proficiency in using technology, including email and smartphone apps.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, pay attention to detail, and follow up on requests.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in cooking, kitchen management, food ordering, and supervising staff.
- A high level of professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal to none.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant culinary experience.
- ServSafe certification (or the ability to obtain certification).
- Ability to perform well under pressure and handle on-the-fly requests with composure.
- Experience with food ordering systems and inventory management.
